The position
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an Product Manager, joining our Product team in the Contractor Management vertical. You’ll have a massive impact on our organization, and will help create opportunities for millions of people around the world.
As an Product Manager at Remote, you’ll be working in a key area of investment for Remote’s product strategy with mentorship from other senior product leaders. You’ll work with product team members who are passionate about making an impact in the world, developing our product direction in an area of financial technology and similar.
General requirements
• Experience as a product manager working in a multi-product, high-growth company
• Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable, self-driven results that have moved pricing strategy in the right direction
• Great judgment making strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions
• A strong sense of design and UX with a passion for well-designed products that just work
• Data-driven product manager with experience setting and tracking goals to achieve results
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including across different departments (e.g. business operations, sales, finance, etc.) to ensure that we’re satisfying critical customer, business and operational requirements
• Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English
• Bonus: Experience working remotely

Key responsibilities
• Build solutions with senior product leaders in Contractor Management at Remote
• Lead efforts across engineering, design, and operations to launch high-impact projects
• Ship iterative improvements in a well-scoped area of the product
• Work together with engineers and designers to build intricate solutions to complex problems
• Shape and deliver improvements in a focused area of our product
• Help advance key KPIs related to your team’s goals
• Communicate and collaborate internally and externally
• Collaborate with partner teams (e.g. operations) to connect your team’s roadmap to stakeholder needs
• Lead by example on asynchronous workflows and transparency

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide – here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $118,550 – $177,850 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
